Taania Sheikh is currently the Chief of Staff for Corporate and Specialty Banking at TD Bank. Corporate and Specialty Banking delivers financial advice, products and services to Corporate clients including Commercial Real Estate and Healthcare.

She started her career in public accounting at KPMG, earning her CPA, CA designation in 2008. During the height of the market crash, she joined TD Securities Toronto working in Finance and Capital Management. In 2010 she relocated to TD New York and spent time in Operational Risk, Wealth Management and the Office of the Chief Operating Officer, . Prior to her current role she was a Director in Enterprise Risk Management focused on Model risk governance and supporting the Board Risk Committee.

Taania has served on the Board of New Women New Yorkers and is an active member of TD Bank’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

She holds a CPA, CA designation and Six Sigma green belt. She graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, with a Bachelor of Commerce (Summa Cum Laude).
