Masood Saeed, MD

Masood Saeed, MD grew up in Plainview, NY. He is a Board Certified Physician by the American Board of Family Medicine and works as a Hospitalist right in his hometown at Plainview Hospital of Northwell Health. His title also includes Assistant Professor at Zucker School of Medicine.

One of the tasks involved in Doctor Saeed’s job is admitting and coordinating the care with the different specialists in the hospital. The part he enjoys most is teaching the residents in his service. They learn the skills of hospital medicine and to provide the best possible treatment for patient care.

In addition to his work serving the local Long Island community, Doctor Saeed has participated in medical mission work abroad. Doctor Saeed has traveled to Honduras and Greece to volunteer his medical services, treat diseases, offer language interpretation, and distribute medical supplies to help impoverished communities and displaced refugees.

Doctor Saeed completed his residency in Family Medicine at The Institute for Family Health’s Mid-Hudson Family Medicine Residency Program in Kingston, NY, where he also served as Chief Resident. During residency and his Chief year, Doctor Saeed held several leadership roles including assisting with the residency recruitment committee and hospital EMR committee.

Doctor Saeed obtained his B.S. Degree in Health Science from Stony Brook University and his Medical Degree at Saba University School of Medicine.

During his spare time, Doctor Saeed loves to read, catch a movie with his friends, explore local food spots, travel, and hike in the great outdoors.
